Basildon Women's Refuge	Basildon Women's Refuge is a charitable organisation providing a refuge for women and their children who have been victims of domestic violence. Many hundreds of women have taken refuge with us since the refuge opened in 1977. Fishermans Mission	The fishermans mission has been supporting fisher folk for many years.

Heaven Is Open	This site offers a new perspective on how to explore key issues such as is there a God as well as a variety of images and posters.

Labyrinth	This is an online labyrinth. It could be very useful for you exploring your prayer life.

MAKE<I>poverty</I>HISTORY	With Britain hosting the G8 summit this year and closely tied to the tsunami disaster this initiative has been set up by many organisations including oxfam, cathod, and many other christian and non-christian organisations. The idea behind the project is to obtain trade justice, debt relief and more and better aid. Mission Praise Midi	Mission Praise Midi was one of the first websites I found that had loads of really good midi files covering all styles of Christian (and some classical and show) music.

OBR Records	Peter Blackwell and Paul Rivers played with Manor Mission in the Music Evening last November (and this years event too!)and being excellent musicians in their own right have decided to form a band with Eric O, Yves F and Oola O. Although still in development its well worth a look at.

Share the light - Scripture Union	Share the Light . . . is the new Scripture Union initiative to get the Bible back on people's agenda. They're asking that Christians commit to pray once a month for 12 months, either individually or in a small group.

Sunrise Software	Sunrise produce a wide range of resources that have many uses within a church.

The Christian Enquiries Agency	For information on anything to do with Christianity. The CEA works on behalf of all the major church groups in England.

The Leprosy Mission	The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is an international Christian charity, founded in 1874, and now bringing healing and restoration to some 298,000 people affected by leprosy in 28 countries.

Viz a Viz & STM	Viz a Viz is a group of people with many different tasks focusing on different sections of the population. The one that the Mission supports most strongly is the Schools Team Ministry, STM, which goes into the schools in Basildon and Laindon taking lessons and assemblies trying to spread the gospel.
