To communicate the
Good News
Of
Jesus Christ to the people of Laindon
We will achieve this by
Discovering God's plan for Manor Mission
Identifying our respective parts within that plan-recognising everyone has a role
Ensuring we are right with God and have dealt with any barriers between us and God or each other
Being active and effective ambassadors of Christ
Regularly reviewing what we are doing and where we are with where we want to be - on a personal level and as a fellowship
Sharing the Good News 24/7
Teaching and encouraging our children and young people
Reaching out to other people
Welcoming people into Manor Mission, creating an environment where people experience Christian love
Taking time to listen to others, trying to understand and care for them in their situation
Allowing God to show His mercy through us in a practical way
Worshipping God - through prayer, Bible study, praise and the way we live in every part of our life - a totally God focused attitude to life
Learning scripture for every situation
Placing an emphasis on Bible study so that we can each learn and grow in the light of the Gospel
Realising our potential as a Christian community and our status as family and priests
Being practical not "arm chair" Christians
Knowing and believing God is in control - and that He hears, remembers, sees, knows and cares
Relying on His power through the indwelling of The Holy Spirit
